Our Goal

Working with individuals who have a Developmental Disability or who are on the spectrum of Autism can often be difficult and frustrating, no matter what the setting: home, school or settings of supported activity or living.

Our goal is to enhance the life experience of not only the person who has a developmental disability or autism, but also the lives of the people who provide support.

We enable this enhancement by:

  • developing a more complete understanding of the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism and how leaving those needs left unmet can lead to expressions of anxiety, agitation and aggression.
  • training for those who support individuals who have a developmental disability or autism to meet their needs with consistent calm and compassion.
  • providing a proven “emergency response” to challenging expressions of anxiety and agitation that can quickly deescalate the event before it can lead to aggression.
